HUAWEI has announced the imminent release of a stable version of its own OS – HarmonyOS 3. The list of devices that will receive the new version of the operating system before the rest includes both smartphones and smartwatches.
According to the Chinese brand, HarmonyOS 3 will bring a number of graphical improvements, including larger folder sizes, widget animation improvements, and intelligent space summarization to save screen space. The developers also promise that the “update” will be optimized to improve system performance.

The vendor also clarified that users of a number of models not included in the list will be able to try out the third generation of HarmonyOS during a public beta test. Also, a stable version of the operating system for these devices should be released later.
To check for a software update, the user needs to go to the Settings menu, select System & Updates, then Software Updates, and follow the on-screen instructions to check for a stable firmware version.
