From the Apple iPad 2022 (10th generation), the thick bezels around the display, the outdated Home button, and the Lightning connector have evaporated. The 10.9-inch display now takes up almost the entire frontal space, Touch ID is built into the power key, and charging is via a USB-C port.
The case is also thinner and lighter, the powerful A14 Bionic is now used as a processor; if necessary, you can connect a Magic Keyboard Folio with a touchpad. The disadvantages include only the first generation Apple Pencil stylus, not the highest quality of the primary camera, and the high price.

Design and features
Now the display of the 10th generation model has increased from 10.2 to 10.9 inches, and the Home button is no more. The bezels around the screen are still fairly thick by today’s standards, but no thicker than other competitive tablets.
The dimensions of the device are 248.6 × 179.5 × 7 mm, and the weight is 477 grams for the regular version and 481 grams for the LTE model with SIM support. Available in four colors: silver, blue, pink, and yellow.
One of the main features of the new iPad 2022 (10th generation) was that Apple still abandoned the Lightning connector. Instead, it uses the new USB-C for charging and data transfer. The flat side bezels and body are aluminum, but there is no headphone jack.
